Hey Guys,

I'm totally hooked on the on the new Big Brother.

Human psychology as a show! It's much more tack full than past seasons.

Full of giggles, if your into the drama.

Regards,

Doz

So many good shows have been mentioned!

I've just finished all 10 seasons of The Walking Dead. Such an addictive show. Would highly recommend.

Hey Inhale Exhale, Walking Dead sounds great - and 10 seasons, wow. What are you going to watch next?

The Innocence Files on Netflix is really good, that's if you like watching documentaries (my fave).

I struggle to stay interested in shows that go on for seasons. The only one I can watch time and time again is Law & Order, I love that show. I especially loved the Criminal Intent spin off that was out for a few seasons.

If you know of any good crime shows, let me know and I'll give them a try.

Hey Aussie Mel - thanks for your suggestions.

I'm really bad at knowing about the crime genre, wish I could help more.
I did like "Dirty John" on Netflix but it's more of a thriller, but based on true story. It is produced by Bravo who make the Real Housewives franchises, so has a bit of a soft-focus lighting and glam looking cast, but I was really impressed that it was a good quality thriller. it's based on a true story and about a woman who gets sucked in meeting a dodgy man online, and how he cons her.

Thanks Sleepy, if it's based on a true story I'll have a look at it.

The only genre I don't bother with is sci-fi. Can't really get my head around some of that stuff!

Hi AussieMel,

No worries - it stars Eric Bana and he's very good in it.
I feel exactly the same about Sci Fi - I find it so niche, specific and hard to focus-in on.

What crime shows do u like to watch?

Do u also like crime books?
I did a class on crime fictin and it opened up my world to the genre, I got quite into it! Some interesting stuff out there!

Hi Sleepy,

wow a class on Crime fiction, that sounds interesting. I've never heard of that!

Asides from the fictitious crime shows like true detective (which surprisingly isn't true at all),law & order, csi, etc, I watch a lot of true crime such as The Innocence Files, Buried In The Backyard, 48 hours, Life Behind Bars.

I'll watch anything really, at least once anyway lol.

I have hundreds of true crime books, I gave a lot away. I had collected them for years but it got a bit out of control. Crime fiction I like too although I haven't read any for ages. Who are your favourite authors?

those shows sound amazing, both the not so true and true crime ones

I try and read modern/contemporary fiction and non fiction (memoirs)

I love the authors Roxane Gay, Rachel Cusk, Melissa Broder, Ben Lerner, JD Salinger, Ken Kesey, Charles Bukowski... and old writers like Charlotte and Emily Bronte, Mary Shelly, George Orwell etc. I like plays and poems too.

I also read some chic-lit like Sex and The City, Eat Pray Love... more journalistic style tales of dating and love. I'm lame.

I've read a few true crime books and they're really interesting!

I'm watching El Chapo on Netflix. It's the first Spanish language show I'm using to help aid me in learning the language. Lento y constante.
