Hello! I am sorry but I could not see any other posts... so I thought I would make my own.
Are there any gamers? I'm a pretty big fan! Overwatch is my passion but also love games such as Pokemon, Kingdom Hearts, Assassins Creed, Destiny etc 🙂

I play games frequently, but have found myself gravitating towards quieter, narrative driven games that are less bombastic. I've been going through RiME lately and have been loving the slow, quiet pace of it. It reminds me of when I played Journey for the first time.
I do still enjoy the occasional online shooter (Rainbow Six Siege is fine), but as I'm getting older I'm finding I get a little too outclassed by the other players.

Hi DonPiano,
Mixing in a good narrative driven game in with with fast paced shooters is always a good. any of the persona series mix the slower paced narrative with the fast paced fights.

What a great thread!
The go to games I play are mostly rpgs like final fantasy, persona, tales of. I love story, soundtracks and atmosphere so it was no surprise that The Last of Us was something that really resonated with me.
When I get Time, at the moment I'm playing Detroit. I just finished Life is Strange: before the storm which had an amazing soundtrack behind a story that very heavily focuses on mental health.

Oh a bit of everything. What I don't play, I watch others play on Youtube. Games in my current use include: Deep Rock Galactic (PvE co-op space dwarves), Sea of Thieves, Heroes of the Storm, Overwatch and a bit of the F2Play MW battle royal at the moment.
I love a good online multiplayer experience. Be it competitive team based of PvE co-op. Seeing how people engage with each other, in and with the digital online game spaces themselves is my passion!
How about you smallwolf? Play anything recently? Give us a quick review of what you played last. If not, maybe another interest? Do share.

I am currently playing Eternium - a mobile ARPG similar to Diablo. It can act as a good distraction for 30min or so. I am level 38 or so at the moment. Though I died against a boss last night - my problem was auto pilot
Used to play LoTRO, Star Wars and similar games but as you level up get a bit repetitive.
Also played path of exile, and a couple of sandbox type games whose names escape me.

I find gaming to be a double edged sword. A great distraction and source of fun or accomplishment but losing or dying to a boss as you said, can negatively effect my mood. I can get stuck in a bad cycle of continued play trying to get the win. I'm a masochist gamer lol.

I've just started my second playthrough of The Last of Us. It's probably a perfect game. The shooting mechanics are a bit pants but the story is a masterpiece. I hope the sequel live up to the high expectations.
Other than that I play a lot of Rocket League and I'm considering starting to play Apex Legends, although I'm so late to it I feel a little intimidated. I watch a guy on YouTube play it so I know the specifics of the game. Maybe I'll be brave enough to give it a go.
