The BB cafe is open for business!
Welcome all to a new chill and chat place for everyone on the forum.
The BB cafe is whatever you want it to be. There are comfy sofas, tables and chairs, coffee machines, a kitchen stocked with everything. There's a pool outside, a bbq area, an annexe with comfy beds for a quiet sleep, tv, dvd, books and whatever else you would like to have here.
Most of all, it's a place to meet friends and fellow travellers for a bit of company. Talk over problems, tell jokes, share your day, escape into a world of your making. Grab a coffee and pull up a chair ...
So, with a nod to the wonderful Carole King (Hard Rock Cafe) ...
Now if you're feeling just a little bit lonely
Don't sit at home just mopin'
Come on down to where the friendship flows freely
You know the door is always open
At the BB cafe
Come to the BB cafe
They will help keep your blues at bay
At the BB cafe

Well kaz says help yourself here in the cafe.....OK, I see there is a large garden outside this door, so I will just pop out and pick some juicy strawberries that actually are sweet. And I think I will prepare a fresh juice as well. Ah baby spinach, pineapple and a lime. Probably should wash the parts of the juicer, for the next person.... Now I wonder if Sherie is still here somewhere. Little frightened of small talk though.

Ha ha, Shelley Anne. Yes I'm still here, and practicing my small talk! You'll find me out the back lounging on the comfy sofa and reading the paper. Nearly done though. Actually that fresh juice would be lovely for lunch. Strawberries, spinach, pineapple and lime sounds like a yummy and nutritious combination. Need to make it quick though, as I have to go soon to get ready to go out for lunch. But I think lunch will be quite late, so a nice juice would tide me over nicely. Okay, doing my conscious breathing now to try to keep the anxiety at bay. Gotta be off ....... May catch you here for arvo tea Shell, and I could make a chai latte for you to try.

Hi KT, nice to see you at the Cafe. And thanks for the joke. Silly but nice, and clean too. Good luck in coming up with a clean Sheep joke. Most that you hear about sheep relate to NZers and are not exactly clean!
Anyway I have another corny joke for you:
A white ant fronts up to a bar and asks "Is the bar tender here"?
Hope you all 'get it'. Not even sure where I heard it now, but I thought it was cute. May have even been somewhere on this website? So if I have pinched someone else's joke, I'm sorry. But there is a saying that copying is the best form of flattery.

Hello,
can I order a cup of lightness with whipped happiness on top please and a slice of peace of mind on the side?
From the moment I woke up, I thought it might be a difficult day. Well at least I can predict them now, still lost to find a way out, but at least I know eventually I wake up feeling better some day soon.
"Sometimes its ok if the only thing you did today was breathe."
Hope you have a sunnier day x

If you are still here Sherie, lounging on your comfy sofa...... well here is a hug for you, and a timid smile.
If you have now gone off to your lunch thing, I will simply draw a hug for you, with my new coloured pencils. No wait, I have some chalk, and here is a pot plant, that seems to have a small chalkboard poking out from behind it. So look there and you will see a friendly hug that I drew especially for you, with your name on it.
OK leaving now xx

Aaaahhhh (flops on couch, spills drink ... bugger ... reads posts from this morning)
Nice place this. Yes Wayne I think that would be a lovely idea. I'm in.
Hiya KT! The cafe's always open mate. Good to see you, bad joke and all (well it made me laugh!) Yours too Sherie - I'd heard it before, and had to have it explained first time around. At least I got it this time.
Your juice sounds good Shell. Glad you found the garden outside.
So, I've been pondering ... New Years Eve is coming up. What do people do?
In Canberra there's always a community party in the city, with bands and fireworks - we've done that once, a few years ago. It's OK because they have what I call the 'children's and old people's fireworks' at 9pm, so folks like us can go home before it gets too rowdy. But my fella and I don't handle crowds well, and the band isn't one I know this year, so I reckon we'll probably stay in and watch the fireworks on tele.
Anyone else got plans?
