The BB cafe is open for business!
Welcome all to a new chill and chat place for everyone on the forum.
The BB cafe is whatever you want it to be. There are comfy sofas, tables and chairs, coffee machines, a kitchen stocked with everything. There's a pool outside, a bbq area, an annexe with comfy beds for a quiet sleep, tv, dvd, books and whatever else you would like to have here.
Most of all, it's a place to meet friends and fellow travellers for a bit of company. Talk over problems, tell jokes, share your day, escape into a world of your making. Grab a coffee and pull up a chair ...
So, with a nod to the wonderful Carole King (Hard Rock Cafe) ...
Now if you're feeling just a little bit lonely
Don't sit at home just mopin'
Come on down to where the friendship flows freely
You know the door is always open
At the BB cafe
Come to the BB cafe
They will help keep your blues at bay
At the BB cafe

That does sound good!
One thing that I have gotten my kids onto is "fish in a bag" and I use Asian inspired ingredients like soy sauce, sugar, ginger, dry sherry, etc. Wrapped in foil and stick it into a pre-heated oven. Hard to get wrong?

It does sound simple. And quite delicious.
I need some ideas for easy dinners on my own. I often find myself on a cycle of cooking the same old stuff on a cycle.

Hi Guest_20307, If you want to change things up a little you can tell AI a couple of things in your fridge and ask for a recipe. You might have a some sort of vege and then pasta in the pantry and see what it comes up with? 🙂
My wife buys those Asian salad bags for lunch... for son, I'll use that same mix in a stir-fry.
And seriously... if you have some staples, and dry herbs, there are plenty of things to try? Perhaps.

hey there "on the road" ... how am I?
let's say I'm floating. Not in a bad or good way. This time of year I feel heavy, empty, and a few other things. Spoke to my psychologist about this today.... Fast approaching the end of year and wondering what I have done to effect positive change in the spaces I'm in. Not as in changing the world but...
Changing topic... made Japanese Curry (gluten free) for daughter and she loved it. Thing was is that I had pre-made curry powder, which is OK, except that was a little more spicy that sweet. Anyhoo... I am now determined to find out what ingredients (spices) are used in a Japanese and make the curry powder myself.
That is my hope. Let you know how it goes.
