Welcome all to a new chill and chat place for everyone on the forum.

The BB cafe is whatever you want it to be. There are comfy sofas, tables and chairs, coffee machines, a kitchen stocked with everything. There's a pool outside, a bbq area, an annexe with comfy beds for a quiet sleep, tv, dvd, books and whatever else you would like to have here.

Most of all, it's a place to meet friends and fellow travellers for a bit of company. Talk over problems, tell jokes, share your day, escape into a world of your making. Grab a coffee and pull up a chair ...

So, with a nod to the wonderful Carole King (Hard Rock Cafe) ...

Now if you're feeling just a little bit lonely
Don't sit at home just mopin'
Come on down to where the friendship flows freely
You know the door is always open

That sounds good to me smallwolf 🙂 I think if it makes you happy, there’s nothing wrong with watching music and cooking videos. I don’t think a day goes by where I don’t watch at least one YouTube video. Music and photography are two of my main subjects, but I’ve been really into cooking in the past so I can totally relate to being into cooking videos too!

Had a lazy dinner tongiht... but then there is a reaction channel where a composer and educator (his words!) reviews different music stuff and this week listened to sides 1 and 2 of Iron Maiden's "Somewhere in Time", a bit of a blast from the past for me. And I'm listening to it as I write this.

Speaking of photography... I was sent four photos of leaves on the ground and where all different colors - reds, greens, yellows etc. - some of the staff from work had gone to Melbourne ... put them together and overlay with music and had a short video to show off on various platforms...

I think I’ve seen some of those reaction channels. If it’s like what I’ve seen before, it’s like someone hearing a famous artist or band for the first time as they are of a different generation and didn’t know about them before and then reviewing what they hear. I can imagine there would be a lot of younger people today who don’t know Iron Maiden at all even though they’ve been around so long and are still going.

The colours of fallen leaves can be so absolutely beautiful. One of my favourite photos I’ve taken is of a leaf on the forest floor that has turned a really bright yellow. I was hoping to get to some towns I know that have lovely autumn colours this year, but I think I may be a little late. Putting music to images as you describe can be so lovely.

Have a peaceful evening 🙏

Thanks.

Made a curry tonight. Didn't have coconut milk and that was replaced with peanut butter. Daughter loves it! Thinks it is the best she has had. A long time ago she was told she could not eat chicken. And today, she can again. Which is good for me as the cook!

But here is a better back... Used pizza base and put combo of butter, garlic, salt, and coriander seed on top. Put that into hot oven and it cross between garlic bread and naan bread. Son had that with the curry.Knew it would work, but suprised me.

That curry sounds delicious smallwolf! That’s a great substitute for coconut milk. I actually made a chicken curry tonight too, but mine did have coconut milk.

That bread also sounds absolutely delicious. I usually eat gluten and dairy free but I know I can substitute in various ways to adapt. I occasionally get gluten free pizza bases. I’m going to give something like that a go. Garlic bread was one of my absolute favourite things as a kid.

hi Eagle... for that recipe using the pizza base I essentially used AI. i asked it how I could a pizza base to an version of naan bread. Looking at a reply (recipe) I tailored it based on what I knew I had and could use, and became a side-dish of sort for son's curry.

That's a great idea smallwolf. AI can be very useful. I love both garlic bread and naan, and naan can be such a great addition to a curry.

Last night I located the guitar chords to Peacefieldm online. I didn't get to learning to play it today as planned as I mentioned on the other thread, but I will be having a go at it soon. I have found music in the past to be such a therapeutic and transformative thing.

I hope you and your family are having a lovely evening. I'm about to go and eat some of my leftover curry now as it is still early evening here in WA.

Hello everyone…..🤗🩷..

What an interesting idea Smallwolf…..I will definitely try that…just have to work out how to use AL…

I was in a bargain shop a few weeks ago and looking for some cheap snacks…I found this colourful medium bag and its name is. “Lolly gobble bliss bombs”…they looked interesting it is caramel coated popcorn…being a corn lover, especially pop corn I bought them…was a bit sceptical though, popcorn and caramel…..

I tried them and they were really yummy…moreish I think they describe it when you can’t stop eating them….

I enjoyed them so much that I bought a crate load and brought them in for everyone to try,..nothing nicer then sitting in front of our bonfire and eating popcorn, looking at the stars and chatting with good friends….

Has anyone else tried these Lolly gobble bliss bombs….

Hello Grandy, Smallwolf,

I wouldn't know how to use AI, but as my fridge currently has milk, eggs, butter, cream cheese & cheese slices, I don't think think even AI would have many recipe ideas just using them.

Grandy.. “Lolly gobble bliss bombs” have been around for decades, they are most definitely moreish.  I haven't bought them for awhile as I tend to scoff them, only realising how quickly I've eaten them when I reach in the bag & find only crumbs.

How wonderful having them in the cafe 😁  I can indulge without a care.
