Hey Everyone 🙂
I would really like to thank all the people that read the Beyond Blue forums and the New Members that have joined and have chosen to post and help build the best online forums in Australia. This year has been a difficult one for many of us including myself
So...What are you doing on New Years Eve? I will be playing daggy'70's & '80's tracks to cover up the racket from the 'illegal' fireworks so my beautiful Chow/German Shepard X doesnt have anxiety attacks!
My kindest always and thank you so much!
Paul
Note: Summer Rose has a great Christmas thread happening for people that enjoy or cant stand Christmas 🙂 The copy & paste link is below

Hi Paul,
No idea why but new years eve is probably my worst day of the year. There is just something about it that makes me feel very anxious and low.
Hubby and I have considered for years going to a rodeo that is held new years eve out in wheatbelt WA. This year our kids are old enough so I'm hoping we can go during the day and leave in the evening.
The idea of a quiet countdown in the car with hubby and kids asleep on a country road suits me.
Hopefully noone sets off fireworks here. We're having a week of 40s here and a bushfire is not my idea of fun.
I like your new avatar. Hope you are having a peaceful Christmas.
❤ Nat

Hi Nat
Thanks heaps for posting back.....I am with you where New Years Eve is concerned....It can be a downer sometimes as we reflect on what we have been going through during the year....ugh!
The temperatures are an issue...even here in Melbourne as well. I hope the wildfires stop as I think we have a super hot summer coming up
Thankyou for the thumbs up re my Christmas avatar and your kind Christmas thoughts....It can be a difficult time of year Nat....I have done everything I can to have a peaceful Christmas.....its still a pressure cooker
Hugs and my best always
Paul

Hello Paul, a good thread and what do I do on New Year's Eve, well years ago my (ex) wife and I used to go to parties and wait for the 'big count down', 10, 9, ----2 and 1 "Happy News Eve' every one, ******* as seconds pass, just another day, so now it's to bed early these days and then bring out the new diary where all important events are written down to alert me of specific details.
Best wishes.
Geoff.

Hi Pual,
What a cool thread,
Normally I'm watching the city fireworks from home. One year I went to a Latin dance party and we had a conga line going into the new year. This year I've decided to join a meetup group that I've recently been a part of, in doing a guided meditation going all the way through the midnight. Thought it sounded like a hippy, relaxed way to spend it, feeling too old already at 25 for parties haha!

Hello Paul, I really want to thank you for your generous compliments, but there are some
days when I just can't seem to extrapolate the words I want to say.
I really appreciate your kind thoughts and once again thank you.
Best wishes.
