Hi all.The flu vaccine came in at the chemist so rung the doctors and got it yesterday.I agree people do not know how to deal with or talk tp people with mental health issues and that is something i have really noticed.Thats the reason i dont have any friends. Its a big world out there but a lonely one it can be.

Hey Mark and a wave to Neerja and everyone else here 😀😀😀 wow Neerja your techno skills must be coming through to me I just learnt how to do emojis lol.

I hope your daughter feels better soon Mark.

I'm really sorry the teachers didn't do anything to stop the bullying and punish the bullies for you Mark and Neerja. It's sad that it's left such deep scars for you Mark. Do you have a Counsellor who might be able to help you work through some of this awful stuff?

The Counsellor might have some ideas about making friends IRL too?
I'm glad you have nice relationships with your neighbours.

It's a beautiful day here today, are you enjoying nice weather where you are guys?

Dear Matchy

It's a hard one not wanting to make friends in case you lose them. I have lost most of my 'friends' ofcourse, probably most people do in their lives. One of my dearest friends since 9yo told me yesterday that she knows the cancer has returned and she's not getting chemo. I cried last night about losing her.

She has lost so many people, including her own son and recently her 17yo nephew. It's freaking PAINFUL.

Now I'm looking at losing her and I don't even KNOW life without her. I will have to support her children through their worst grief while I'm grieving too. I have no idea what the future holds -nobody does.

But EVEN IF we only have friends for a short time, maybe they brought some happiness, joy and fun times?
Hopefully you wouldn't be friends with them if they don't lol!

Matchy you have so much to offer as a friend. You're kind and compassionate and KNOW STACKS about gardening and cooking!

I love that you're my friend! tbh I think you're ripping people off not being their friend. But I'm glad you're mine lol.

Hi Em when I have made friends and lost them mostly due to my depression and anxiety. It is not easy keeping friends for me and heart breaking for me when i lose them for what ever reason.

I enjoy talking to you on here wether it is about gardening or cooking or on here.

Dear Matchy

I enjoy talking to you too!

It's heartbreaking for all of us when we lose friends, unless they're horrible people then it's not quite as sad if we can get over it okay.

It's a but like we have to keep getting back on the horse when we get thrown off - unless we're okay with not having friends. Sounds like you're not so happy about it.

One of my adult children is supporting people on the NDIS with autism. My daughter goes out with her client on bushwalks, going for coffee or attending things like kick boxing classes.

I know my Church runs a Friendship Group once a week.

Have you thought about applying for NDIS and maybe getting a Support Worker to attend things with you?

Just trying to help.

Hi Em it is interesting you mentioned NDIS as i have both my kids on this scheme and use it for a few things for them.My children did physio on horse back which they enjoyed.I have thought about applying for it my self but dont know if i would get it.I know it was really hard getting it for the kids.Took a couple of goes to get it.
