Matchy69 said:Hi Em it is interesting you mentioned NDIS as i have both my kids on this scheme and use it for a few things for them.My children did physio on horse back which they enjoyed.I have thought about applying for it my self but dont know if i would get it.I know it was really hard getting it for the kids.Took a couple of goes to get it.
Dear Matchy
That's BEAUTIFUL that your kids got that experience!
NOW HOW ABOUT YOU??
My brother has finally applied for it. We'll see if he gets approved. But a friend of ours married with children, all on the spectrum, has only just THIS WEEK been approved. She was only diagnosed with Autism this year.
YOU absolutely deserve this too. Social connections can be really difficult for anybody but can be even more difficult for people with ASC (condition not disorder). Social issues are recognised and if you said you had no friends then BINGO.
Our friend is competent in so many things just like you, which is great, but without social connections we can feel so isolated. It's not fair and equitable so this is the purpose of the NDIS to bridge this gap.
Please don't let the paperwork side of it stop you. It stops SO MANY deserving recipients and this is frustrating.
What do you think? (Yeah I push lol).
Love EM

Dear Mark
I know you put your children first, you're an excellent parent.
With frustrating paperwork, I say to myself "Well doing this paperwork is worth $xxx to me and my child, so that works out to be about $xx per hour".... this motivates me. Centrelink can be very frustrating to deal with, I KNOW that too. There have been extreme blunders lately. Goes with the territory I reckon.
BUT I will push for you!
YOU are SO IMPORTANT! I am SO HAPPY that you find your retreat in your garden and working hard there.
You are a true Champion for nature having land dedicated to it, you're an eco Warrior lol. I'm proud to know you.
And you deserve friends IRL too. Just sayin'.
I hope once you get Centrelink Carers payment sorted, you can value yourself too and go through with NDIS for you.
Your children certainly want you around for the long haul. We do too.
Love EM

Hi Neerja,my drive to my land was good.I had a couple of trees to clean up that fell across my driveway.I am glad i had the chainsaw with me.I went for a walk and got lost as the bush land is so thick and it all looks the same but found my way to the fire break btween my neighbours property so i was right then.I didnt see to much wildlife but saw plenty of Kangaroo foot prints and found an active fox hole probably had a fox in it.On the way home i stopped off at a weir but it was very dry looking and only had a little bit of water in it.
I hope you enjoy your school holidays,my two kids have started school holidays and they are with their mother at the moment.
My days been ok,i spent 4 hours this morning cleaning my car and now it looks like new again.Just finished watching the footy and now watching and Elvis movie.
Take care,
Your friend,
Mark.

Hi Mark,
I am really glad that your drive was good! It sounds like a relaxing, fun and great place to go to! Now I want to see bushland.
Maybe, next time you will see the wildlife there.
Was it hard to navigate your way on your walk?
I haven't been to many bushlands before, but for a school excursion, last year I visited the You Yangs, it was really good to see nature and to take a walk on the mountains. It felt so calm.
Is your profile picture, from the bushland?
I hope your kids enjoy their school holidays too 🙂
WOW 4 hours! That is a long time! That is good that it looks new again. Whenever my parents and I clean the cars, it gets messy again after an hour, lol. Except if it is my mum's car, she hates mess, lol.
I am really glad that today has gone ok for you 🙂
How did the Elvis movie go? Did you like it?
Warm wishes,
Your friend,
Neerja

Hi Neerja yes my profile picture is of some trees on my property. It is very hard walking through it.The front section is ok as i have a driveway and it is a bit more open but the rest of of it is very thick and with no tracks and a lot of youn trees coming up after the rain.
The elvis movie was ok it was called Spinout and i have seen them all a hundred times.I fell asleep during the movie i watched last night which happens a lot with me.
A cold start here again with frost.I might get the fire going to keep warm.
Take care,
Your friend,
Mark.

Hi Mark,
Wow, that does sound really hard. I bet you are very resilient!
I haven't seen the elvis movie, but they sound really good, as you have seen them all hundreds of times.
Here it is cold here too.
How has today been for you?
I hope you and your family are doing well.
Warm wishes,
Your friend,
Neerja
