As it is, I'm not fond of hugging people, anyway. However, Hugzies are a different matter entirely, primarily because t;hey are intended to convey a friendly connection acros a virtual spaces, such as between the keyboard & screen & the electronics of my laptop & my tele, which is still my monitor, & yours. I know it's along the lines of wishful thinking, using my imagination to communicate some sort of emotional warmth to you & everyone here, whether I've addressed you personally or not - the hugzies are for anyone who would like to feel someone can reach them wherever they are.
I have been thinking of you, Quirky, Wolfie, & many others here, with much warmth & fondness. Not just because it's 'that time of year', but because I do, from time to time, miss folk, & wish I could be here like I was when I first joined BB.
