Sometimes I change the course of a conversation or hijack it by picking up on a minor detail and going off in a whole new direction. I might need an outlet for my habit. So the rules are, you can join in the conversation by taking it in a whole new direction or saying something that just doesn't follow on. Remember that we are not being serious...

I have some stuffed animals, pretty much all bears. The bears sort of sit in between books on our bookcase. The one wearing corduroy trousers is Mr John.

As kids we all wore corduroy trousers in winter. It was the warmest fabric you could get.
Colour didnt matter. .

I love winter, because you can wrap yourself up in thick quilts. You feel nice and cosy and warm, whilst it is cold outside. I have a brand new patchwork quilt. All in my favourite colours, which are blues.

The blanket on my couch has little orange foxes on it. I found it after watching a fox on the road out the front early one morning.

That sounds rather a lovely place to grow up. I haven't made an orange and poppyseed cake for a while, perhaps I should dig that recipes out.
