Sometimes I change the course of a conversation or hijack it by picking up on a minor detail and going off in a whole new direction. I might need an outlet for my habit. My great grandmother used to have a really vicious goose and every time I went out to the backyard dunny it would be there waiting to attack me when I came out. I hated that goose ........
My uncle had horses, dogs, chickens & 1 duck. It's name? "Duck-duck". My girls were scared of it.
More memories - We often had BBQs for lunch when we visited them. My uncle would bring out potatoes wrapped in foil & bury them in with hot goals covered with dirt. 20 minutes later they were ready. My girls were adults before he told them he had cooked the potatoes in the microwave first!!
My husband has been hard on microwaves since he became blind. I had an almost brand new one & went to use it only to find the glass in the door smashed. My husband knocked into it by accident. I replaced it with the cheapest on the market rather than an expensive one. He also wrecked the shower screen when he fell against it when he misplaced his foot getting out of the shower.
I have accidentally wrecked a food processor. I had only just bought it. I was kneading bread dough, because it had the setting to do that. It was happily kneading, then all of a sudden it sparked and cracked. Then a strange smell, then smoke. Oops!
