Sometimes I change the course of a conversation or hijack it by picking up on a minor detail and going off in a whole new direction. I might need an outlet for my habit. So the rules are, you can join in the conversation by taking it in a whole new direction or saying something that just doesn't follow on. Remember that we are not being serious...
So talking about conversations my grandfather could talk until everyone fell asleep, he was a carpenter and used to spend a lot of time in the Garage mainly so that he could avoid grandma. I used to like to take him tea and watch him work when I was a kid. I found out that mum used to do the same thing when she was little.
Peppermint tea has to be about the best thing in the world don't you think. I love the smell of it and just wonder if perhaps a mint bath might be a thing. Anyone else mad about peppermint?
I must say I really dislike those taps in public bathrooms with the button that only gives you a couple of seconds of water. Impossible to wash your hands properly!
I used to live somewhere that had a bathroom without a bath. It felt most uncivilised. In the end I got a large toddlers pool which proved to be a heavenly respite.
My washing machine is really playing up. When it agitates it won't spin next! But it will spin when it doesn't agitate first. It's only 17 years old. They don't make things to last anymore!
I used to love getting on swings and twisting the chain up so I'd end up spinning really fast and watch the sky blur around and around. I wonder if I have the capacity to do it now..?
