I moved to the Gold Coast 18 months ago. Prefer to live with people but currently living in my own. Am looking for work when I finish my Microsoft Office computer course. Need to have that social interaction or get depressed. Normally join Meetup.com as that is a good place to make friends. I am 64 but young for my age. Would love to hear from anyone who wants to say hi

Welcome to the forums and just wanted to say hi! I'm in my twenties but I saw that your post has been unanswered so I wanted to pop in anyway.

Where were you living until you moved to the Gold Coast? How are you finding it?

Meetup sounds like a good idea. I'm a bit isolated too but I have a lot of anxiety around those websites!
