Fortunately/unfortunately

Hey everyone, I like playing games, so I thought that I would start one that I sometimes play with the pre-schoolers at work. It's called "fortunately/ unfortunately". The aim of the game is tell and create a story, kind of like a serial, but the beginning of each sentence or paragraph has to be with words fortunately or unfortunately. The trick is that they have to alternate. It can be a creative, silly or just plain crazy. But the aim is to keep the story going. I'm going to start with.....

It was a bright sunny morning, so today I went to the beach. Unfortunately everyone else had the same idea as I did, but.....

Next person is to continue the story starting with fortunately.

Unfortunately the bed collapsed under the weight of all that body glitter!

Fortunately I prefer sleeping on the floor so I slept on my glittery mattress and felt spectacular

Unfortunately, the following morning I wasn't feeling so spectacular, after spending hours cleaning the glitter and repairing my bed, which threw my back out.

Fortunately i had the day off so i was able to relax, go and get a massage

Unfortunately my back was still sore but the message left me feeling like I was floating

Fortunately I have a great imagination and I imagined myself floating gently and effortlessly in a beautiful shady lagoon in a warm tropical location.

Unfortunately I came back down to reality when the Massage ended and I saw the cost

Fortunately though I had my no-interest Credit Card on me with which to pay

Unfortunately I used my credit card on those coffees, chocolate, movies, hairstyle and shampoo, for washing out all the bird poop I had a $0.00. balance.

Fortunately I'm a very fast runner and ran as fast as I could away from the massage parlour
