Fortunately/unfortunately

Hey everyone, I like playing games, so I thought that I would start one that I sometimes play with the pre-schoolers at work. It's called "fortunately/ unfortunately". The aim of the game is tell and create a story, kind of like a serial, but the beginning of each sentence or paragraph has to be with words fortunately or unfortunately. The trick is that they have to alternate. It can be a creative, silly or just plain crazy. But the aim is to keep the story going. I'm going to start with.....

It was a bright sunny morning, so today I went to the beach. Unfortunately everyone else had the same idea as I did, but.....

Next person is to continue the story starting with fortunately.

Unfortunately you were sitting on top of an ants 🐜 nest. You jumped up like a bat out of hell and ran down to the pond throwing yourself in. Meanwhile the chocolate began to melt into a big gooey mess to the delight of the ants!

Fortunately the 🐜 ants didn’t bite me and I found the pond so cool and refreshing so I stayed in it and just relaxed while you continued to look at the ants eating the big gooey mess you didn’t feel them crawling onto your feet..

Unfortunately for the ants 🐜 it started to rain 🌧 really heavily washing all the chocolate away. My feet were safe from bites too. With my giant umbrella ☂️ I flew off home just like Mary Poppins......

As Deebi and Grandy stood there united 😭 they were trying to figure a way to hitch a ride with Jojo alias Mary Poppins minus the 🐜 that were climbing on them to keep from swimming....

Unfortunately...as Jojo glided by on her umbrella ☔️..Deebi grabbed a Jojo’s feet..I grabbed Deebi’s feet..ooops the umbrella turned inside out and we all fell into the pond getting soggy wet and giggling...

Fortunately everyone could swim 🏊‍♀️ so we splashed around laughing and singing in the rain! We then climbed aboard a wooden rowboat and headed for the opposite shore

Unfortunately the oars for the rowboat had holes in them...

Fortunately the rowboat also had an outboard motor that was in tip top condition with a full tank of fuel

Unfortunately the motor fell off when Deebi landed on it... but I think if I put my bionic eye back in I can see it wayyyyy over yonder...

Fortunately...Eagle eyed Grandy seen the motor...and swam over to get it...ahh ha Grandy stood the motor upright sat on it...pulled the chord and awaaaay I went waving to Jojo and Deebi as I whizzed by on my new one person boat motor..😂..
