Dear Moon and DB~

Well no, I'm not consigning it anywhere, in fact our conversation about Dylan Thomas probably belongs here rather than Happy Memories, but no matter.

The wing-backed armchair and smoking jacket belong to two favorites of mine, Alistaire Cooke, who sent the "Letter from America" (from 1946 to 2004 which is incredible) every week, and then Alistaire Cookie (Yes you guessed it, a Muppet trying to be Mr Cooke, also in jacket and chair.)

DB, between you and Ggrand you have probably used up most of the world's supply of emoticons and reduced the rest of us to smileys 🙂

As you have probably noticed be the reduction in the number of my posts for a while now things are rather ordinary and decent sleep would be a help too.

I hope the next couple of months will lessen the pressure. Just part of life I guess.

Good morning Croix and All,

I can just see you Croix sitting in that wing backed arm chair in your smoking jacket. I used to care for an elderly gentleman who used to enjoy wearing garments like smoking jackets, and longish night shirts resembling the outfit of men from the Middle East.

Thinking of you Croix and hoping you are managing okay.

Do you like to read? Do yo have a favourite author? I tend to choose books from the library with an interesting title or ones from the travel section relating to other people's experiences around the world.

This morning I am going to be attending an open garden, the money raised goes to charity. We have had some recent rain...and dust storms, so not sure what condition he garden will be in. Yesterday the sky was a yellow/orange from the poor farmers dirt flying around!

Thinking of yo Croix! Hope yo have time to put your feet (tail) up!

Things aren't sounding great atm in Croixy land which is a concern. I really am sorry things aren't the best there chum.

In Doolsys sleep thread there's an interesting coloured step approach to sleeping if you're interested. Life is certainly harder with lack of sleep.

It's a gorgeous sunny day in paradise, hope you have a nice one too.

Oh I've been enjoying watching friends on the box too, loven it.

Be ok Mr 🐧🕊 sending healing thoughts with a lot of care Croixy and orders for your body to look after you.

You are a " rich" person DB, I really appreciated what you wrote for dear Croix.

Care about you too Mr. Hope it all starts to fall into place and if it doesn't I'm glad you still have your goods in life...and all the other goods that are out there.

I hope that you will able to get through. And just take life's challenges on the chin. Like DB said it's a gorgeous, sunny day in paradise...even if it isn't, thinking that it is is all that matters....good thoughts 🙂

I must say it is pretty good to pop in here, expecting just one post and finding many, you are all a great help. I HATE waiting, and I'm stuck doing that for quite a while (please excuse the shouting, does not go with the Cookie image)

I'd not read fred4761's steps idea, I'll certainly give it a try, and I too had to look up 'chakras' which was interesting.

Yes, Mrs Dools I read a lot, and often re-read a book if it has made me feel good. nothing heavy though, plus as Moon knows it has to have a happy ending. I read when I get up, however it does not make me sleepy which is a bit of a trap:)

I HATE waiting too, but sometimes that's the only choice we have. Hope whatever it is your waiting for turns out OK.

Yeah I already spent it. Bought petrol, new clothes- specifically 2 work tops, comfy black pants, hair products, makeup, I ate out, then had snacks.

The vaccine stung for a while. Think I dealt with it better than the bloke though. They also took four tubes of my blood. I also should donate some of my blood too- still haven't gotten around to doing that.

So yeah I'm vaccinated against meninjococcal and all that.

I'm also a first time medical research Guinea pig too lol...

I've been finding extra ways of making money- that one came to me though as my medical centre rang me up and asked.

Through my father I learnt that aging has a set of challenges. He's going through changes. Made me sad. Anyhow I guess it's something u rise above than fall into and surrender to. It's true what they say about life not being easy.....

I thought I would throw away my shyness and call in to let you know I have been thinking about you and hope your doing okay...

About waiting. I’m with you I hate it so much and have at times left trollies, clothes mail etc and walked away after about 5 minutes or so, because I start to get uncomfortable feeling everybodies eyes 👀 on me...About the only thing I can’t walk away from is my MH...would be good if we could just get up and walk away from it and it stays behind😁..but alas it keeps attached to us....

I hope you are doing okay, I understand that you need to have a break and I hope while your doing that, you’re being very kind to you...Also I would like to leave you a few emotions to add to your collection..
