Dear ER
That was much more than half century ago and nowadays I'm a sober sort of Walrus (unlike the inebriated kiwis). I'm not sure how well donuts by penguins will work on ice, at best they would leave slushy tracks from the tyre heat rather than neat black ones and at worst the'll spin off over the edge of the iceberg (which actually they might enjoy.)
I don't think its very fair not to allow the kiwis a go, it would add to the general mayhem (dunno what happened to my nice quiet iceberg before you mischief makers arrived.
I've just arrived back home having been to the movies with Mrs C. I'm afraid the film sould be patented to get rid of insomnia. On the other hand the company and the Scottish restaurant were excellent:)

Dear Croix,
I loved your description of the film as a cure for insomnia 🤣 I’ve had a lot of insomnia lately so it might be just what I need. I’m glad the company and Scottish restaurant were excellent 😀 Did you partake of haggis?
Yes, well, allowing the kiwis to join the donut fun probably can’t make things any more chaotic than they already are on the iceberg. I can see the wheels spinning, stuck in an icy rut while getting more and more sloshy. And the kiwis are so inebriated and don’t even realise as they make broom broom noises with excitement, believing they are doing donuts when that is in fact the inebriation - a fascinating sight.
Well on that thought I will giggle myself to sleep. Sweet dreams to you, Mrs C and Sumo.
Hugs,
ER

Dear ER and All~
I'm afraid I"m too soft heated, I now prefer to see the haggis scuttling though the heather rather than served up between two half buns (with or without fries)
Mind you have sampled the typical UK dishes, black pudding in Lancashire (useful for Ikky Thumpp), Barabrith after choir practice in Wales and even roast beef with Yorkshire pudding following the Windsor soup in London.
Sorry to hear about the insomnia, when I find the secret to banish it I'll let you know. The occasional film might, however one is not sure what one is about to see. I thought Angelina Jolie as opera singer Maria Callas might be terrible, always having thought her a light weigh actor, however it was truly excellent and would have kept one wide awake.

Dear Croix and All,
That is good to know about Angelina Jolie as Maria Callas. I have been feeling like seeing a movie lately so that is one to consider. The nearest cinema from here is in a town an hour away but I do have to go there soon for a blood test, so perhaps I'll try to see a movie. I wanted to see the Robbie Williams biopic, Better Man, but it seems to have disappeared from cinemas already. Although I read good reviews of it, it doesn't seem to have done well at the box office.
Ah, yes, I'd rather see the haggis scuttling through the heather too. I have some highland cows not that far from me here, or 'heeland coos' as they would be called in a Scottish accent. I really like them, along with yaks. I actually met some yaks in the Himalayas some years ago, including some cute baby ones.
Well have a restful evening Croix (if those penguins and kiwis doing burnouts are not too noisy).
Hugs,
ER
