Dear Croix and wave to everyone,
It’s lovely to hear from you. I’m glad you are recovering now even though it’s taken longer than expected. Yes, that penguin-flavoured hospital food is suspicious. I think you got your own back with the kiwi invasion 😂 I expect their presence made things more lively and interesting for many a patient.
We have missed you and I’m sure everyone is glad to hear from you and how you are going.
Sending you a big walrus-sized hug,
ER

Hello dear Croix,
I thought I would just check in to see how you are going? You are always so kind to everyone here and reaching out to others, so I thought I'd just see how things are in the world of the walrus?
An entourage of penguins have just delivered a stash of fresh clams to the igloo, so hopefully that will be a much enjoyed treat. They have also decided to build a sculpture out of comatose kiwis that they thought you would appreciate with your refined tastes in art. It is an audiovisual installation because of the snores and other noises emanating from the kiwis. They then plan to take the sculpture on tour, first to the Tate Modern gallery in London and then the Guggenheim Museum in New York. But you will be the first privileged viewer of this avant-garde masterpiece.
I do hope you are resting peacefully by the fire with Mrs C, Sumo and Foxy Dog.
Take care and hugs,
ER

Good to hear you are ok to post but I hope you will take one step at time.
More tests sounds a bit worrying. Hope the fish are fresh.

Hello Croix and wave to Paws, Quirky and All,
It's lovely to hear from you Croix. It's good to know you feel up to posting but, yes, take it easy of course and take good care of yourself. I'm sure Mrs C and Sumo are doing a good job looking after you too. I hope you get helpful info from the testing.
All is (ahem) fine at the iceberg. Nothing to (ahem) worry about there.
Hugs,
ER

Dear Quirky and ER~
Thanks for the greetings. Do you have an amphibian on your throat ER? There was lots "ahem"'s when talking about my iceberg. I'm shuddering at the thought of what I might find.
I've not been following yours or Paws' thread of course so am wondering how you are?
The same with you Quirky, managing ok? Yes the fish are fresh, and yes further tests are a bit of a worry, hopefully leading to things that are easily fixed.
I'm afraid it has all been pretty hard on Mrs C as she has to do more and more, going to great lengths to look after me. Typically she brings in the wood, and I'm enjoying the benefits by sitting snug in front of the fire with strong winds and rain howling outside (an excellent expereince)
Sumo has adopted his usual 'busy' position and is quite oblivious to what is happening outside.
