Dear All

I'll be taking a couple of weeks leave, nothing to worry about, I do this several times a year. Have fun while I'm gone and LEAVE MY ICEBERG ALONE! (Yes, you know who I'm talking to)

Hee hee hee! With no walrus around for a couple of weeks, it will make our Christmas extravaganza plans for the iceberg easier to implement!

Have a nice, restful break Croix.

Hugs,

ER

Dear All~

I've returned but am apprehensive about visiting my iceberg - I hate to think what you've been up to.

I'm not sure how long before a few more days absence as I've a few medical issues to sort out.

Croix

Hello again Croix,

I hope all is ok on the medical front.

No need to worry about the iceberg. Paws and myself have been taking care of things. The plans are outlined in Paws’ thread. It’s a bit epic. But nothing to be concerned about (ahem). Hehehe.

Take care and hope the medical issue is sorted soon.

Hugs,

ER

With the reformation of the ice berg (to chapel) what will become of the inebriated kiwis?

Re: Blues Brothers - Rawhide! I love their rendition. Brilliant.

I hope you don't mind that I want to use your ice berg as  spare fridg/freezer? I simply can't fit all my chocolates & ice cream in my own fridge-freezer.

I hope you are all mended, now, Croix, so you can enjoy some gentle relaxation, peace & feel comfortable enough to abandon yourself to some Xmas songs - purely because you'd enjoy bellowing out a tune! Believe me, bellowing will be fine, if you are to compete with my mmMeyowelling.

mmMekitty 🎶😹 Hehehehe, that's enough to break the ice ...

Greetings mmMeKitty,

I think it will be perfectly fine to use the iceberg as a spare fridge/freezer. Although a Christmas extravaganza is planned, I reckon Croix’s igloo is the spot. Over in Paws thread we have been planning many activities including performances by Effie and hippos in tutus and so much more. The  kiwis are setting up a brewery business which requires an additional iceberg to be tethered to Croix’s iceberg. Croix’s igloo is already demarcated for sweeping kiwis into so their inebriated forms are not a trip hazard on the dance floor. A big strong yeti/big foot/abominable snowman has agreed to sweep them into a giant pile in the igloo for us. But I reckon your chocolates and ice cream will fit in there too. It might force Croix out into the festivities as there won’t be space left for a walrus. I think the kiwis will be too inebriated to eat your stored goodies.

MK I think your mmMeyowelling would be a wonderful addition to the festivities. If you are willing I will add it to the already stunning variety show that awaits.

On a walrus friendly note, I also hope you are all good now Croix and can enjoy a lovely, peaceful Christmas.

Hugs,

ER

Merry Christmas everyone,

Word reached here yesterday that news of the surprise xmas extravaganza was leaked to our favourite Walrus by some pesky penguins.  Unfortunately it seems he has taken up their offer to spend a quiet xmas day at their colony.  No need to feel down about this news though as I think this may well work in our favour, especially as the boat carrying Effie & co is running behind & will only arrive today.

We can now set up today in peace & when he gets back tomorrow expecting things to be all over, we can surprise him with the news that hooray!!! it is now a week long party, culminating in a New Years Eve spectacular.

How much fun will a week long party be!!!  The hippos, ostriches & other performers can now both party & perform.  The cat walk fashion show can now have it's own day enabling everyone to show off the latest in winter/summer styles.  Apart from only having their tusks used for games of quoits, the narwhales will now have the time to show off their ice sculpting talents, turning some of the nearby smaller icebergs into all sorts of wonderous creations.

Plus we now have a wonderful supply of specialty icecream & a certain Red Putty Tat's mmMeyowelling.

This will certainly be a party to remember.

Hugs

I suppose EfFe has snorkeled up my chocolates  ... I hope I will have enough ice cream to keep my throat happy for mmMeyowling (sorry for the spelling error last time - it's definitely  'mmMeyowling'). I don't eat it just to cool my insides, although that does work particularly well, nearly as well as a cool shower, but not as well as going  for a swim.

I opened up my prezzie & got some more chocolates!  I'm afraid the kiwis will want to scoff them, so, shhh, please, don't tell them. Also, what I imagined were six rather firm bread rolls turned out to be four tins of Root Beer, (goodness, I haven't had Root Beer since I was, maybe, 10 years old. One of my support workers mentioned how he'd found some & liked it, & I told him I hadn't had any since coming to Australia, so, sneakiy him & his mum, got me some Root Beer & my favourite chocolates.

I just noticed, The Truman Show is on tele tonight. commercial tele - I will keep my remote handy for muting.

Hello MK, Paws, Croix and All,

Ah, yes, I think EfFe couldn’t resist the chocolates. She’s left the ice cream though as she finds it rather messier to eat and wants to appear as elegant as possible. She was raiding the chocolates in the igloo and when the kiwis queried their disappearance I had to say it was the elephant in the room 😂 So anyway plenty of ice cream is left to help with your mmMeYowling. That will go nicely with a large group of penguins who have just formed a violin ensemble. They only started learning the violin yesterday so it will be a fresh sound for the ears, shall we say.

How lovely that your support worker gave you your favourite chocolates and the Root Beer. I don’t think I’ve ever drunk Root Beer before. I just looked it up and it sounds like a nice beverage to have cold on a hot day.

I’ve still never seen The Truman Show. Alas, I lost all the commercial stations on my TV a few months ago. I now just get ABC, SBS and NITV but there are some good shows on all those channels.

Well very Hsppy remaining Christmas Eve!

Big Hugzies,

ER

Sorry, not Christmas Eve! What am I saying?! I have to admit I’ve been imbibing the kiwi’s brew and it is indeed potent. I know not what I say. Well tos no longer Christmas night in eastern Australia but just over 2 and a half hours left here. It’s really been a bit chilly here and I’m a bit shivery.

Well Happy Boxing Day!

More Hugs,

ER
