We recognise that many of us here in the community are feeling scared, worried and overwhelmed about Coronavirus (COVID19).

As a result, we created this thread to allow people to come together here during those difficult times and encouraged those wanting to share or seek support to do so here in this space.

It was important with this thread that we maintained perspective and supported each other as best as we could, medical, scientific and public health experts around the world have and still are working hard to contain the virus and treat those affected.

On a few walks I've taken my phone with either George Michael or Adam Lambert from Queen on it and it was great. At the moment I do online workouts for seniors twice a day. That's helpful.

Hi meforcats, I hope you have a happy day and at the moment keep enjoying your coffee from Macca's. I have gone through the driveway a few times myself for a coffee, not bad at all!

I am working from home so keeping busy but it also becomes a bit of an excuse to keep working. Isolation has been a strange thing and made me very anxious of being out and going back to the work place. This never bothered me before. Today I will take my dog for a walk to the park!

Your garden must be looking lovely with all your planting.

Take care.

Sarahbelle.

hi rx i dont watch the news at all so i dont really know about andrews , my friend had just said tht to me but she is biased as she wants the schools to open. i am in this for the long haul and am okay that everything is shut. i just think people who are homescooling are over it, but we all need to wait this out i think, not rush back. sorry if what i said wasn't accurate. i never watch the news anymore.

hey meforcats, i like cats too and am wandering if will emerge from the pandemic with a new cat. I have zero cats at the moment.... i am always petting the ones in my street or there is a shop near me with a cat that i sometimes visit....

milly sounds beautiful and i think being a cat lady is a beautiful thing - they are amazing creatures. hope milly is warm and happy these days 🙂

Yes Leonard Cohen has a way of seeing life that is so beautiful

Nothing is perfect, everything has that small crack but that's part of life's magic

Hi sleepy , nah no worries at all just pointing those things out, reporters are all saying the same stuff but then we know most of them aren't sharpest tools in the shed but considering it's their job they should get it right yaknow. But l could well understand the friend wanting schools back, a lot of kids too , shouldn't be long now hope she can hold out .

Take care. rx

Hi Sarahbelle I get spicy chicken wrap from Maccas. Very nice.

I enjoyed planting things today. Gave them a good drink. Now I need a watering can that doesn't leak.

Enjoy your walk with the dog and don't work too hard.

I just love cats. Always have. Milly is on my lap at the moment. I should be doing painting but I don't want to disturb her. She's good company. I talk to her. She talks when she's hungry. She loves my old gas heater.

I'd better do that painting.

So school will be back in a couple of weeks. This is giving me some anxiety as it means the morning/evening rush starts again. Trying to get back in time to pick up little miss from after care. I haven't had to worry about it for a while and have been relaxed, now i feel worried . We've ha a few people come into work t the last minute of late which would not work for me if i had to pick up little miss.

I'm almost dreading it all.

I can also relate to losing a pet too. At least I know that he is in Doggie Heaven. But I just cannot bring myself to getting another dog. Sorry if my post upsets you in any way. Please take care and try to have a wonderful life as best you are able to.
