When is it ok to just not be ok

When you're done everything, everything, like all the distraction that sometimes work, read posts and reached out, even if it's a silent prayer because you just didn't have the right words, you still felt their pain and gave your best. One small step ..yes...and a list...but it's not ok. Sometimes you get a glimpse behind your own mask, the one you've kept just for you, and there it is again. No, there's not even been a running away...it's just not ok in so many ways.

Hey Wilma

Do you mean that you have exhausted all the coping mechanisms available?

Ive been there before too and it hurts. Remember that frequent counseling is a huge bonus.

I still see my GP every 4 weeks for a fine tune and it works.

If you could elaborate that would be great Wilma so we can understand and support you more effectively

My Best. Paul

Hi Paul, sometimes it's just the disappointment in yourself. The up and downs, well the downs, well not even the downs, just...everything. Strategies help sometimes, but sometimes I can hide the truth even from me. I want to please everyone, be well, be, just be.. I know I'll get over it, I have many times before and will again, but just damn it Paul, just damn it. W

Thanks for posting back Wilma

I think you are referring to the roller coaster ride that depression/anxiety takes us on....and it is a frustrating ride for sure Wilma.

Low self worth/esteem can be helped by your doc Wilma....Nothing to lose and everything to gain by being a pest and making heaps of appointments and having a good vent

just my opinion

Great to have you on the forums too Wilma!

my kind thoughts

Paul
