Hey, it's been a while,
to recap I started experiencing severe anxiety about this time last year, when I first came to beyond blue. I was medicated, I quit my job, finished college and moved to London.
i am now in the same kind of job I had before and I am starting to feel really stressed in it. It's a shame because in theory this is the kind of job that I want but dealing with customers can just be so aweful when things go wrong. I love the job but day to day there seems to be so much I don't love about it.
but when is start to look for a different job I just can't find something that I will be enjoy that I can do and pays decent.
I guess know I'm wondering if this is all I can expect from any job, to just scrape by and not really enjoy it. What if there isn't really a job for me out there?

Hi flower girl, welcome back.
I think a lot of us struggle with our job satisfaction. I think of it this way; what if this IS all you can expect from a job? I am not always satisfied with my job but that doesn't mean I can't find satisfaction in other parts of my life. It's crucial for me to be aware of all the important parts of my life, I write down all the things like family, friends, health, nature, music, etc etc, then I make sure I am active in these important parts and I don't let my job dissatisfaction interfere with these other parts that make me happy. Find what you are passionate about and spend your time there (after work), who knows where it might lead, you might replace your income one day.
Try to reduce the emotion you lose to the parts of your job that you don't like, switch negative thinking to positive thinking, tell your self you are good at these challenging parts, it's part of your job and you are good at it.
