Hi everyone, my Anxiety is mainly centred around my health.
I have had black pain for some time now and is causing alot if heightened anxiety.
Doc thinks it'muscular so that is helping but the pain still makes me anxious.
I havel lost about 5 kg and being skinnyalreadyits concerning.
Doc also seems to think the anxiety is causing the weight loss, but 5kg!!??
I have changed any eatinghabits either.
Anyone else experienced this?
Thankyou.

Hi Mike, welcome
I'm an expert at not losing weight. I'm 137kg last time I looked but I do have the huge frame to hold it. But it isn't good. Tried diets all my life, fitness programs etc. This is what I've come up with now.-
Never give up. Always bounce back and get back on the sensible diet plan the next day after falling off the rails.
Accept that you will never be like the slimmer people in the world- it aint gunna happen lol.
That the mix of less food bilk and a little exercise is the way to go. Ideally depending on your physical health abilities fast walking or jogging for 20 minutes minimum is required. This is because after about 12 minutes of intense exercise your blood pressure drops then rises again. That process is really good for your heart. Strolling isn't that beneficial but better than nothing. No sweat no gain.
My sister in November got a gastric band operation done. Since then she's lost 32kg in 10 weeks. She had to get medical insurance and on top of that paid about $5000. It gives you an idea of cost. Without insurance about $17,000 give or take.
If you don't grow your own vegies consider it. Even if renting you can buy steel garden units from Bunnings and fill with dirt and fertilizer bags. Try cherry tomatoes. Zucchini grows easy and you only need one or two plants. Its also mentally satisfying. Strawberries can be fickle but sometimes worthwhile. If you have a yard pumpkins are great.
So I suppose the message is balance and a little motivation every day. If you don't get that motivation you can take the messages from the following threads- use google

Good luck Tony WK
