Tired

Truetomyself
Community Member
At the moment I feel really tired and exhausted from my anxiety that is now impacting my depression.
I am also tired of having to hide it. Especially with work.
I can't afford to loose my job but I can't say what's really going on.
I am scared and unsure of what to do. I have lost jobs because of my mental health being so up and down.
I have no one to talk about it to.

I don't feel so good. I have been in bed all day. My anxiety and depression are not good.

have you eaten?

what were you thinking about when you were in bed?

I have eaten something small. Whilst I was in bed I slept and thought about not being here anymore.

😞

It sounds quite bad.

In the times of those thoughts, did you try using any of the apps you previously mentioned?

I didn't. I am struggling to get up and be normal. This is the worst I have been.

Hi Truetomyself,

We are so sorry to hear you are feeling this way and that it is the worst you've been. The community will be here to listen and chat with you. You can reach out to Beyond Blue 1300 22 4636 or Lifeline 13 11 14 for some further support.

In the event that you are feeling like hurting yourself, it is important that you take immediate steps to keep yourself safe. You can do this by:

• Speaking to your doctor or psychologist (if you have one) if he or she is available right now

• If, however, you feel unable to keep yourself safe this is an emergency and you need to call 000 (triple zero).

We have sent you a private email so that we can support you further.

I am concerned for you.

When I talk to my psych about wanting to be normal, I am asked "what is normal". In one sense I am already normal. So are you? We just have challenges in dealing with scenarios.

Can you please tell me how this is the worst you are feeling?

And what might be one thing that would make things better for you?

I am struggling with everyday life and one thing that would make it better if someone in my family understood.

I am sorry your parents do not seem to want to understand.

I thought your aunt understood what you were going through? Perhaps not a daily basis but ...

And one of your siblings also?

Would these people count as understanding?
