Hello Aygok
I am sorry to here that your anxiety is spiking. The feelings are horrible and sometimes are compounded by being alone or at home by yourself. I have had severe anxiety for 25 years and if your anxiety is new..the feelings can be strong. I was put on AD's and they actually worked in 2 days instead of the 3 weeks they normally take.
The meds are designed to take out the lows to give you a chance to build a platform on which you can heal. I see that you have sought help and thats a great step towards recovery...well done! The more regular the Gp visit or therapist visits the better...they will help you clear the dark clouds away so you can have some peace.
Gentle occupation (not being busy) to distract yourself usually works well...a good DVD..a hobby...gardening..Anxiety does lose its power when your mind is occupied...Even if there are some people that you can call and talk to can bring relief so you dont internalise about your symptoms.
The good news is anxiety symptoms do lessen in severity over time...it does take time. If I may ask you...how is your sleep going? Anxiety also loses its power when you are well rested.
Let us know how you are going
