Hi
I am 40 with a husband and 2 kids under 7.
3 years ago we moved interstate to start the next phase in our life.
I experienced my first what I would call ‘Real’ panic attack - would wake up every morning before work, vomit & sweating. This job was new - relief teaching but have had a good 12years or so teaching experience so I didn’t expect it to be that bad!
Didn’t seek any professional help at that point. It just gradually subsided in the weeks to come.
Fast forward to a good year later & that’s when I had my second child. No more teaching. Working from home in our small trade business.
10mths into 2kid family/working life with sleep deprivation/post-natal depression & the panic started to come back. Hospitalised twice within 6mths.
Fast forward to now with a bit more of a plan of how to deal with my ups & downs. Good family support, good GP/psych support with monthly visits & medication.
Would love to hear a bit about you in the hope that sharing calms & helps 🙂
