We all do it, trying to figure out the best ways Naturally to combat it...Self medicating just isn't helping thanks 🙂

Hello Scotty, there is a book called The Happiness Trap and one of the tools it teaches when you have repetitive thoughts go into your head is to take a step back and distance yourself from the thought by saying to yourself, 'I'm having the thought that ...'.  Basically you just acknowledge the thought is there and let it sit rather than fighting it, and then refocus on what you are doing.  I thought this was a silly technique when i first read it, but the more I did it the more I found it actually worked.  It's like retraining your brain!
