hi
i'm not really sure what been going on but for quite some time now i have been getting really nausea and nervous of the thought of going out in public in any way, i can leave my front gate without my heart starting to race and feel like i'm gonna pass out.
seeing or being around people i do not have a close relationship with is like hell. i cant finish my sentences because of stuttering from nerves, as i'm talking to someone i don't know i tend to find myself going red in the face and just not being able to talk.
Going to school is terrible every bell that rings means i have to just see more people.
i was wondering on what peoples thought are on this cause i have no idea but i know its not healthy as it is progressively getting worse

Hello beehivesweetie
Welcome to the forums and good on you for having the courage to post too!
I understand your pain as I had also had some anxiety when I was in school as well and its an awful place to be in
There are many young people on the forums that also have these bad feelings.
You are more than welcome to check out the 'Young Peoples' header when you wish to!
These symptoms are very common and especially what you are going through at school with all the tests/exams and expectations that are involved.
The cause is sometimes not the answer even though its more than understandable to look for one. The best way to deal with what you are going through is your Well Being Counselor at school who can help you and also will hold anything you say in confidence (Its actually a part of their job requirement...to protect your privacy)
You can also see your family GP (if you can) as they are very understanding and will also ensure your privacy
Just from my experience Beehive...the earlier you have a chat to your school counselor or GP the better you will feel...
Your privacy is paramount here on the forums or with anyone you decide to have chat with. Can I ask if your parent(s) know what you are going through?
There are many gentle people on the forums that can be here for you Beehivesweetie.
I really hope you can post back and let me (us) know what your thoughts are. You are more than welcome to post back as many times as you wish......This is your thread and we are here for you
You are a very proactive.....(and amazing) person to have reached out here and thankyou for doing so!
Im Paul...one of many people that can be here for you
you are not alone...
My Kind thoughts for you 🙂

Hi beehivesweetie.
I thought I should also let you know there is also a youth mental health service called headspace. They have various locations around Australia as well as an online service called eheadspace. I have found it really beneficial. I went there when I was under 25 and I have nothing but good things to say. Maybe it could be something to look into. I wish I got help earlier. I avoided it for so long but struggled alone. All the things you talk to them about is confidential and low cost/free as well
