Dear Myahlove, welcome so much to BB.
One of my issues is anxiety but at 58yo and anxiety at its peak at around my mid 30's I did embark on a few plans to lessen my anxiety.
For me, the rat race had to be considered a major factor along with friends, family and working hours. With living in the rat race ie the city I knew that basic daily living was stressful and it didnt matter what I did, anxiety continued to breed within me. So plans were drawn up to move out into a calmer place, a place without parking meters, less road rage, more parking spaces, less traffic, cleaner air etc.For me that was important.
Then there were family members that were toxic. These one or two members had me so worked up prior to meeting them that it wasnt logical to continue with them in my life. The same with friends. I weeded them out over time. Sounds cruel, no, its self preservation. They were welcome back if they contributed positively to my life and refrained from a destructive attittude.
Lastly, planning. eg I calculated how long it took me to get to work and left at a reasonable time...not getting there an hour earlier than required but 15 minutes. It isnt easy standing outside yourself and being objective about your habits but you have to do it and compare your actions against what others do without anxiety.
If you have an ongoing issue then a chat with your GP would be a good move. There are some really good meds out there now that can help you along. Chats to counsellors also can get things into perspective and relaxation classes can do wonders. I've attended them and they are very effective.
Good luck
