Hey there dodger1989, a brisk welcome to the forums!

Salmon milkshakes and cotton wool sandwiches over and over again cured my kids want to drink excessively.
I SAID that to them whilst in the midst of a hangover.... they got the message, none of them drink any more!

It's just not worth it since there is alcoholism on BOTH sides of the family. Don't want to activate THOSE genomes, no way.

That's ONE cure.

What's going on?
Are there social reasons you've been drinking so much alcohol?

You're very welcome to share whatever you want to.
We'll be here all the way throughout your journey if you need our support.

Best wishes
EM

Hi there I have very very high Anxity and drinking dosn't help

Hi Ecomama , thanks for your thoughts. I have regrets of inaction of poor decision making, ruminating how I should of done it . Example, Saturday was at Flemington races borderline drunk and a well dressed woman stood roughly 6 or 7 metres away for about 5 to 8 minutes by herself, I think I should of approached and said at lest hi but I froze because I wasn’t sure . Shy person when it comes to women , I don’t think she smiled at me or got eye contact but I keep thinking what a confident bloke would have done , so I kicking myself for inaction, I suppose inaction is an action or a decision. I don’t know why I question so much the decisions I make ,later , I have done this more times than I like . Trivial I know but I don’t get a lot of chances , might have to get out more.

Thanks Shamira , it’s more when I am sobering up

Hey dodger,

Tbh I'm grateful you didn't approach any woman borderline drunk, so THANK YOU for your restraint!

I really mean that.
THAT'S how you can dispel any ruminating thoughts, by turning them on their head.

Yep. Confidence.

I'm gonna throw some names out there because I know without a shadow of doubt that YOU can change the way you think.

That was the PAST you.

Starting NOW it does not have to be the way you are.

Tony Robbins has TONS of clips on YouTube explaining with clarity ALL the ways we can change the things we haven't wanted in our lives. Please have a look!
I'm a pretty confident person, always have been BUT I got pretty low there for a long while, had C-PTSD added etc.

For the past 2y I've had a fantastic healing journey!
It came with FOCUS, a steely determination and ACTION.

By USING Tony's techniques + Dr Joe Dispenza Meditations I think clearly, have created an AWESOME life and things are always working out for me lol.

Meditating at least 3 x per day has become habit! For most of every day I remain in a similar state.
I'm watching a YT chat between Dr Joe Dispenza and Lewis Howes right now and Dr Joe is going over the incredible freedom people who use his techniques are experiencing.

Hoping for the same freedom for you!

Thanks again Ecomama, I will have a look at those YouTube clips , great information thanks.
