Hi
I keep getting brain zaps since I stopped taking anti-depressants. Now I know it's supposed to be a short term withdrawal symptom but.... I stopped it in 2014. I got sick as a dog with super high temperatures and ended up in hospital a few times.
Does anyone else have "brain zaps" years after stopping anti-depressants? Does anyone have any solutions or advice to help?

Hello ToLate, thanks for posting your comment.
Once anyone has been relying on AD's to help them overcome any mental illness, the AD help us in controlling our mind thinking, behaviour and understanding what may be a trigger and we should avoid these, whereas if you're struggling and aren't taking any AD then we can't avoid these problems, whether it's our mood, how we can cope either with our emotions, sleep etc so as you say 'brain zaps may happen.
This could be because your situation, friends or circumstances have changed and it's a totally different scenario that you're not used to and although psych's say it's a withdrawal and after 7 years have you thought about going back to your doctor and I only say this because we hope you can get back to us.
