Hello there,
I have always been someone who worries a lot. Lately I have been so overwhelmed that I feel like everything goes black for a second and I feel like I have to close my eyes to make it stop. Has this ever happened to anyone else, am I forgetting to breathe or is this physiological? Any suggestions would be welcome 🙏🏼

Hey Frenchfry,
Thank you for your post and for sharing what has been happening for you. We hope that this can be a friendly and supportive community for you.
It sounds like things have been really overwhelming for you lately. is there anyone in your life that you are able to talk about this with? Speaking with a GP about these symptoms you are experiencing could be a good idea to get some more clarity over what is happening.
In the meantime, it may be of interest to look into is some information about panic attacks – something that those of us who are prone to anxiety may experience. There is some good information here: https://www.beyondblue.org.au/mental-health/anxiety/types-of-anxiety/panic-disorder
Of course, we still recommend speaking about this with a healthcare professional. You can also call the Beyond Blue Support Service at any time on 1300 22 4636 or web chat or email via http://www.beyondblue.org.au/getsupport
Please know that you are not alone and that our community is here for you 24/7. Feel free to share an update with us on how you are going today, or whether you have found anything helpful to cope.
Take good care of yourself, Frenchfry
Kind regards
Sophie M
