Hello,
I’m new to this and would like to know if there are online group sessions that discuss anxiety. I recently attended an online Zoom session at another service and found it really helpful, but they only do them once a month. I was wondering if this service offers the same thing.
Kind Regards,
Michelle

Hi Mershy,
Wellcome to our forums!
I also find group sessions very helpful! I did a group therapy for my severe anxiety OCD and it was the best thing I ever did!
I did my group therapy through a University it was run by trainees and overseen by a doctor.
Im unsure about online group therapies maybe another one of our members will.

Hey Mershy,
Thank you for posting, welcome to our forums!
An interesting question you've raised here. I know the impact that social support can have on people's mental health, so group sessions discussing anxiety sound like a really useful tool. While I haven't heard of any myself, you could always try reaching out to a therapist, counsellor or psychologist to see if they can point you in the right direction to find some.
How did it work, was there somebody guiding the discussion then others on the call continuing it with their perspectives? What did you like most about this particular format? I'm really curious, as a psychology student myself, as it may be useful to know for my future practice.
SB
