Hi cakeboss,
100% I can relate, I have had a few anxiety/panic attacks in my life.. the chest tightening and the heart racing so fast it feels like a race car, the cold and hot sweats, the shaking and feeling very cold... I know the symptoms because I have dealt with them many times. You seem to have so many good things in place to help you and the fact you are seeing a GP and counsellor is great, just really need to keep at it and keep dealing with them when they happen, I feel overtime you become stronger and are able to deal with them a lot better.
My best for you,
Jay

Hi cakeboss
You are most definitely not alone, i suffer with high lv anxiety amongst other things, my atacks can last days and can be so painfull. I find music a great relive, there are some great apps for your phone with relaxing music that you can alter to suite your mood. I find having a hot shower a big help. There is one relaxation method i use the most that involves tightening your limbs from the toes up to your forehead one at a time holding each part for 15 seconds then relaxing and exhale. Works for me at times. Other times i just try and keep myself busy. It really is trail and error and just a case of finding what works for you.
