Hi all, I have offered to be a Community Connector helping Beyondblue spread its new "Coronavirus Mental Wellbeing Support Service". What community groups, individuals or agencies do YOU think I should contact? [p.s. I also wanted to see how the Forums work helping others]

Hi Bard,

Great to see you on the forum. Connecting communities is so important. I am not sure what you mean by 'agencies you should contact'. Are you asking where you should share the details of the new Coronavirus Mental Health Support Service and what agencies you should tell across the country?

If it is, my first answer would be GP practices, universities, schools, TAFEs, childcare facilities like daycares where you have a lot of new parents and most importantly, hairdressers (this group are the Nations accidental counsellors).

I am not sure this is what you were looking for but I thought I would try,

Hi Bard

Thankyou for your work here and beyond. BB has certainly expanded!

I suggest contacting Counselling, DV, Aged Care services etc like Uniting Care, Women's Health Centres, Women's Shelters (but maybe passing this one on to a woman would probably be best), Relationships Aust. Schools.

Police Dept. Anyone dealing in the front line.
