Hi Jessica and welcome to the forum.
This this is a safe and non-judgmental place and I hope that you will feel able in time to share the keywords or topic you need information about so we can better support you.
You mentioned a fight with your partner. I wonder if you have heard of a website called Relationships Australia? This website (http://www.relationships.org.au) has a lot of resources you may wish to read more about. You can also find contact numbers for helplines in your area.
I hope this is something along the lines of what you were looking for. If not please feel free to reply and we will try and help you.
If you read threads that interest you, please feel free to join in.

Hi jessicasiobhan and a warm welcome to you!
Sorry to hear you had such a tough day. Nothing quite like external conflict to get some internal conflict happening in our head, hey.
I have found that, at times, internal conflict can be resolved when I begin by asking particular questions, starting with 'Do I wish to be the person who accepts this or do I wish to be the person who aims for that?' I believe conflict is not so much about 'What do I want to do?' as it is about 'Who do I want to be?' It is a conflict of identities (between our old self and our potential self). Perhaps this goes toward explaining why we grow and change through challenge. Letting go of our most familiar self and our beliefs is what often poses the greatest conflict of all.
Look forward to hearing from you again.
Take care

Hi Jessicas, thanks for posting for your comment, I wonder how often you have been in this situation because nothing should be pushed away only because it will only happen once again.
