Hi Everyone,
I would like to introduce myself to the Beyond Blue community. This is the first time I've come out in the open regarding my mental illness and it is a big step for me personally. I am 31 and suffering from Depression, Anxiety, and Addiction from my teen years up until now. I have had professional help in 2017 and undergone a range of treatments from Antidepressants to Counselling. I am still yet to achieve a stable outcome.
I feel that relating to others in a similar situation helps me cope. My goal is to establish connections with the Beyond Blue community and I ask for the community's support.
Thank you for reading.

Hi Toonz
Welcome to the bb forum and congratulations on having the courage to make your first post.
I know it's a leap of faith disclosing personal health information on a forum but I want you to know that you have landed at a very special place. A place of kindness and non-judgemental support.
I'm sorry to learn of your struggles. You are not alone and I'm confident that the connections you make here will be of benefit to both you and the community.
Achieving a stable outcome is a great goal and entirely possible. Never give up hope.
I look forward to seeing you around the forum and talking some more.
Kind thoughts to you
