Hello. I’m new here, I decided to join after a fight with my mum. I won’t share my age because I feel people jump to conclusions after hearing ages. I feel much more mature then others my age. I believe I may have depression again, I had it one when I was 9. I have PDA and severe anxiety. I’m hoping that someone can give me some tips for how to not completely give up again.
Thanks,
Утка

Hi and welcome to the forums.
firstly, apologies for the delay in anyone replying to you. Sadly, sometimes a post can slip between the cracks. But here we are now and you asked for some tips...
When you were 9 and last had depression, were you given any strategies for coping etc.?
Otherwise ...
- have you looked or used the smiling mind app? It is one app that I have on my phone and use and can be used by kids through to adults.
- if you are under the age of 25 you can also try out kids helpline (https://kidshelpline.com.au/) which has a stack of resources and other help facilities.
- not sure if you have tried writing a journal but that is also something I have found helpful.
Lastly there are threads on the forum here on self care, thing to be thankful for, grounding, mindfulness which might also give you some ideas. And you can also write what is on your mind here as well. I know it might not have started off well but I am sure replies will come a bit faster now. Listening to you,
Tim
