Hey there, thank you so much for reaching out. We hope you can find some comfort and reassurance here on the forums.
What's been going on, if you'd feel comfortable sharing? You don't have to go into too much detail if you don't want to, but we may be able to help if there's something specific you're struggling with.
Otherwise, have you seen a GP, therapist, or psychologist before, or would you be open to it? Sometimes, it can be refreshing to hear a professional perspective and advice.
Please feel free to chat some more with us, we're here to help.

Hi
I feel exactly the same way. In the last couple of days I have spent about a total of 5 hours talking to Lifeline and the Suicide Callback Service crisis teams. I simply have noone else to talk to. I find it hard to be myself on this forum as I compare myself to others who seem more educated and more empathetic than me. If you are like me, all you can really do is ring the various crisis lines.
Sending you a big hug. Has anyone hugged you lately? I can't remember the last time someone hugged me. I'm here if you'd like to talk but I'm not very good at saying the right things.

Hello and warm welcome to the forums.
Sorry to hear you are going through a tough time. You have come to the right place where you can talk freely if you want to open up and you will be heard without any judgement.
If I may ask and if you feel like talking, will you be able to share more so we can try and help you better?
Please also reach out to professionals if you are more comfortable to talk to them.
No matter what you are going through, please don't feel alone, while it might feel like you have no one to talk to, we are all here to listen and support you...
Take care

Hi Guest, Merricat and Everyone,
I really feel for you Guest and Merricat.
Merricat, I just want to reach out and say I have been in that place of calling the SCS, Lifeline etc multiple times just to regain even a semblance of stability. I also know what it’s like to not remember the last time I was hugged and what it is to live with extreme aloneness. I know it’s not the same but sending you the warmest virtual hug. Things have gotten a bit better for me and I’m not in such a torturous place now. I still have daily challenges but I’m learning to self-care in a way that I’m able to get through each a day a bit better. I just wanted to share that it’s not a living hell forever even though it can feel like it.
Also, I’ve read other lovely responses you have given on this forum and you are really empathetic and thoughtful and there are only positives there. So please don’t compare yourself to others and think you are any less because you write beautiful things of value and kindness.
It’s ok to be not ok and the same for you Guest. It’s ok to keep calling helplines when going through that and find that human connection and grounding. If you can find a therapist who is a really good fit for you, that can also make a difference. It can take time to find the right person and I know the cost can be a factor. I just wanted to send support so you don’t feel so alone.
Hugs,
Eagle Ray
