Hi everyone I'm a long time 55yr old sufferer of bipolar with personality disorder and PTSD. Nothing is working at the moment so I have sought out like minded people, hope not to be a burden.

dear Smem, hello and please never think that you are any burden what so ever, because it's a site where we all try and help each other.

It seems as though you are suffering from too many illness's, and something has happened a long time ago which is also causing many problems.

All of this is causing too much concern for you, to try and deal all by yourself, and this is never possible.

There will be people willing to reply to your post and offer suggestions, advice and certainly help, so please get back to us. Geoff.

Hi Smem,

I too would like to welcome you to the community here at Beyond Blue. As Geoff mentioned, you will never be  burden here at Beyond Blue and I hope you don't feel like that in real life as well.

I suffer from depression, have Borderline Personality Disorder, suffer from high stress at present and have been told I have PTSD as well due to our babies all dying.

Sometimes life can throw a lot at us. Would you like to share how you have been coping up to now and if you are receiving any professional help?

It can be difficult to acknowledge and tell others of our mental health issues because for some parts of society, mental health is still not accepted or understood.

I find it helpful to share how I am feeling here on this site. People here are non-judgemental and are willing to try and offer advice and share experiences that might help.

So if you would like to share a little more about yourself, we might be able to offer some suggestions and care.

Hope this helps a little.

Cheers for now from Mrs. Dools
