Hi Proud Dad,
Welcome to the forums. I think that you are extremely brave and courageous for posting and that is amazing! Everyone on these forums are super nice, helpful and non-judgmental. It is a perfect environment for people struggling to post as much or as little as they are comfortable with
I am sorry to hear that you have been struggling for a long time. I too have suffered from anxiety and depression for many years so I can absolutely relate to your situation. It is amazing that you have such a supportive family behind you. For them to be your "rock" is so important and that is awesome! We have all made bad decisions in our lives so don't dwell on it. We live and we learn!
I look forward to hearing from you and learning a bit more about you when you are comfortable to do so. Wish you all the best mate.
