Hi all
I’m new here. My name is Ally. I suffer from GAD and Aspergers. I would love to chat to people like me as it gets very lonely and isolating.

Hi Ally,
Welcome to the forum and the community here. I suffer from depression and Borderline Personality Disorder. I try not to let these titles of my illnesses define who I am. I try to understand the issues better so I can make improvements in my life and better understand who I am.
Do you have hobbies and interests, things you like to do? Are there things you would really like to do? It is okay to have dreams! There are some that we may not be able to achieve, but considering them is a positive to me.
I'd like to go sky diving, bungy jumping, ride a motor bike around Australia, go on an animal safari in Africa, trek in the Himalayas, cruise down the River Nile and The Amazon and so much more. I can read about these things, watch You Tube clips and so on. Not the same as actually doing it, but experiencing it all the same in a small way.
Feeling lonely and isolated is something we all can feel. Do you have places where you can go to just be with people? Sometimes I go to the shops just so I am around people, or to a café and buy myself a treat.
Hope you find chatting here helps you Ally!
Cheers for now from Dools

All of us have been through our own type of depression, so we know what you are saying and I am no different, I've struggled for many years myself.
It's always good to be able to talk with those who understand and know how you are feeling.
Geoff.
