I am going to find this a little daunting to start with, not knowing what to expect from these forums. Openingng up to strangers isn't really my thing so I will try my best here to help myself as well as hopefully helping out others in the same boat.
All the best.

Hi Vinsta,
Good on you for making that first post. What you can expect is a bunch of friendly people who are happy to listen, and some of them have really good advice. I only joined last month and it's been pretty awesome being able to chat with people who understand my challenges.
Hope to catch you around in the forums.
Bill.

Hi
People could be frightened to open up to strangers at first, while another person will relish on the idea, simply because they don't have to see any reaction made by their friend, family member and at least a psychologist/doctor, and that's why we are all different.
Once a person posts a thread they develop friends along the way, who want to stay with them, whether they come and then go, doesn't matter, it's knowing that either they will still be on the forums or other like-minded people will join in.
It's virtually like talking on a phone.
Great to have you.
Geoff.
