Wishing you a very warm welcome here to the forums. We know it would not have been an easy thing to reach and and share your feelings and experiences here today, so thank you for showing such strength. We're really sorry to hear how lost and lonely you're feeling right now after your husband has been admitted to hospital- but please know that our community are here for you, and you don't have to go through this alone. It's understandable that you'd be feeling heartbroken due to what's happening at the moment, especially when you don't have much support and are living away from family that you'd usually confide in. But we really hope that you can find these forums to be a safe space to talk through these thoughts and feelings, and our caring members are here to help offer as much support, advice and conversation as you need through this difficult time.
We also think it would really help to reach out to the friendly counsellors at our Beyond Blue Support Service, who are always here for you, 24/7 to talk these feelings through and offer support, advice and referrals. They're available by phone on 1300 22 4636, or also through webchat (from 1pm-midnight AEST) at www.beyondblue.org.au/getsupport Our friends at Lifeline are also here for you anytime- night or day- when things are feeling like too much to cope with on 13 11 14, or through their online chat (7pm-midnight AEST) at www.lifeline.org.au/crisis-chat
We hope that you find some comfort here in feeling a little less alone through this, and please keep updating us here on your thread whenever you feel ready to, as we'd all love to be here to help you through this.
