Welcome to the Beyond Blue online community.
I understand that sharing your story is no easy task so thank you for opening up here. I am also new to the online community, but from what I have read on the forums so far, I can see that this online community is a positive and safe space to talk and receive support from others to help with whatever you may be experiencing in your mental health journey.
I understand that there are certain sections on the forum that are specifically dedicated to those wanting to speak about PTSD & Trauma, Suicidal thoughts and self-harm , and Depression so you may want to jump in on a conversation in whichever section you think best suits your needs (such as the thread ‘Does depression ever end?’ in the Suicidal thoughts and self-harm section).
Also, if you’re looking for ways of coping in particular, the Staying well section seems to offer great advice on coping with difficult thoughts and feelings. ‘Mindfulness: What Is It? (Even if you dont know please post so we can help grow the forums accordingly)’ or ‘Plan for down days’ may be useful threads to help you get started.
