My doctor has me on 30g of an SNRI antidepressant atm due to anxiety from work. I've had a killer headache since, is this normal? Also I was wondering what time do people find best to take this medication? These side effects have been knocking me for six and I have to go back to work next week...

When I first started taking an antidepressant back in 2004, I was in a fog during the day for a couple months. Weird side effects.
It gets better though! Take it right before bed and see if you can hang in there.
The side effects settle down slowly and with any luck you'll find it effective. I sure did (anxiety + depression) and it actually helped me kick the benzos - so win-win! 🙂

I have been on a 50mg dose for 2 days now and it also has hit me for six(first time I've had antis) My head is absolutely everywhere, hope it settles soon. Anyway I was told they may make me drowsy so have been taking them at night but they have had the opposite effect so am switching to the mornings tomorrow. Also cant stop grinding my teeth, its almost like i'm coming down from amphetamines. Glad the doc gave me three days off work
After researching this particular SNRI I am actually a bit scared after hearing some of the horror stories about coming off them but also have heard some success stories as well
So have they settled down now bess?
I hope so because i'm not sure how long I can ride this out for
