So me and my wife had an argument and she came home and said you paranoid c$%t and left. Next day my little boy was stressed so my friend took him to the movies. That afternoon he msged me and said he got picked up at the movies and I didn't see them for weeks then she went to Perth with him saying her mum was sick. And they never came back. And then she put a avfo of me. That was t required saying she feared me. Which she knows I love them both so much and would never hurt them. Now she said she is never coming back and I cant deal with it all. Ive given up. What do I do. Im seeing a counsellor and psychologist and its not helping the actual outcome. Help me.pleaase

Hi, welcome
Sorry to hear this, it would be traumatic.
Ive issued an AVO once and the proceedure usually is that you get an opportunity to reply to the person's claims. Did you get that opportunity? Did she state any event and/or evidence to prove her fear eg police report?. Did you refute them? Did you get an opportunity to attend court for the judges decision? What was the length of time the AVO is in place.?
Did you file missing persons application to police on your child? Are you paying child support?
Be aware that you do have rights to access to your child. Have you had a visit to a family solicitor? I'd avuse it strongly.
Having gone through similar and fighting for my rights that was 30 years ago, its worth all the effort to secure visitation rights.
I hope that helps. Try to stay strong amd ring lifeling or the number at the bottom of the page if you feel unsafe.

So sorry op , it is hell missing our kids. But you must know , you wll get to be with him again and to be his dad. Men have legal right to 50/ 50 these days and although his in Perth now so that can't be done, you will still be able to be with him in whatever ways you can work out later on.
lf the Avo was bs, l suppose though that will have to go to court if you can't bring her around yourself, first, and maybe even to get your 50 50 too. l know how hard it is trying to be nice when she's acting like this but a much better path if poss - do you things there's any way of calming her and getting things back to normal communication between you, that's your most peaceful path. Worked for me.
We really, only need courts when one of us is acting like an absolute idiot and l know she is but can you use what you know about her personality to bring her round, that's what l did, you know her nice spots and soft edges.
You could also try mensline, they're in the book, but ask to speak to one of the men there, someone who can relate to your situation.
Sorry l can't offer more, was a long time ago for me but please look after yourself so that you can find ways through this, dig about when your up to it.
Take care.
