I just did TMS for a pretty bad depression, only done one side so far but was told to wait 2 weeks for the brain to have a rest and then onto
left side. The mood and irritability which can very often turn to anger is quite the task to manage gonna see doctor to see if anything can be done whilst i wait to do more tms and dealing with family members has been interesting of late hah. I'm just neeeding to some words of encouragement, prayers also welcome hah whatever you have. I'm both amazed ive dealt with this problem for so many years and just what the power of our brain chemistry when things are disrupted. Anyway cheers

Depression is such an awful thing to cope with.

Depression is so hard to manage at any time..I am so pleased that your pro active with your depression..Well done..I hope after you do TMS on the left side..that things start to look up for you...
Depression is not who we are..it kind of takes up residence in our brain and try’s so hard to take over our positive thoughts...and it can be beaten...We can triumph over our depression....
Im Please your going to seek your Dr. help in managing your mood and irritability..which can turn to anger...It’s good if you can..when you first start feeling those feelings..that maybe you could distract your mood and irritability by playing some happy or soft music through your ear phones..I usually select an instrumental..then decide which instrument I’ll follow through the piece of music...that keeps my mind totally on the music and it can be very soothing...different things work for different people...maybe that’s something you could try..if you feel like it...
I have read both of the threads Tony has mentioned to you and I found them very helpful....
Anyway I really hope that things work out for you..if you like to..you can post anytime you feel to do so....
