Hi. I'm new to the forum.

i don't understand why I feel like I do! I'm on medication but still feeling so down. Crying all the time, tired and just not happy.

I should be happy I'm getting married in the next few months , going on an amazing holiday and planning a baby.

I booked myself into hospital at the beginning of the year and got myself help. It worked for a short period.

it feels like everyone is against me.

dear Lusie, welcome to the BB forum and I'm so sorry for your current situation.

It must be such a worry and make you feel as though you're at a cross road, not knowing which way to turn.

At the moment you say that 'you're not happy', which makes me wonder whether you have queries on wanting to get married, and please I mean no harm by saying this, because if it was your nerves then your excitement would be going over board with joy and anticipation of your new life, however I don't know what your personality is like.

By getting married won't fix your depression, maybe for a short time while you are away on holidays, but then the crunch will happen, and that's what worries me, and again by saying this I am only trying to help you.

Are you able to postpone your holidays and not lose any money, maybe your travel insurance would accept a letter from your doctor stating that you are not well enough to travel, and I don't want to presume too much at the moment, because I'll like to hear back from you. L Geoff. x

Hey there Lusie!

i haven't met you but l would give you a hug because it sounds like you need one. I hope this virtual hug makes you feel the warmth l'm sending your way. The world and people are not against you. You are loved and you have some exciting things coming up.

Have you found a good psychologist? They would be able to give you tools to empower you to identify what you are feeling and why you are. With time and by practicing the tools they give you, you will find that you will be able to understand your feelings and identify why you're feeling like that.

work out what works for you (medication helps but there are so many more things you can do).

Please believe me that you can feel other emotions like happiness.

Be kind to yourself xx
