Dear Love
It's great that you have found your way to Beyond Blue and welcome to the community. So sorry that it has taken so long to reply to your post.
May I ask how old you are? I get the impression that you are a woman. Not that it matters but it's good to have a bit background knowledge about the person we are speaking to.
My name is Mary and I am 71, mother of four children and grandmother of eight lovely kids.
How long have you felt the way you describe above? If this has been going on for some time it would be a good idea to get yourself checked out with your GP. The feelings you describe could be depression or a general anxiety. It could be that you have a low self-esteem and need to learn how to believe in yourself.
If you are in your teens it could be part of growing up when we have all experienced some doubts about ourselves. Although we are often told it doesn't matter what others think of us, we do care about this and we like to feel good with the people we love.
You sound as though your anxiety is a bit more extreme which is why I suggest a visit to your GP. If this makes you nervous and you worry you will not know what to say, write a list of how you feel, starting with your comments above. If you can remember specific events that make you feel that way then add those.
Doctors are very skilled in working out what is the matter with each of their patients. Yes, I know that is an obvious statement, but some folk worry their doctor will not understand them. I can tell you doctors work out all sorts of complex problems.
It would be great if you wrote in again and told us a little more about yourself.
Warm regards
Mary

Hi LoveLoveLove1816,
Welcome to the Beyond Blue forums and thank you for posting.
Sorry you are so distressed.
There's not a lot to add after Mary's great post but I thought I'd recommend you try reading a "GOOD" book on Self-Esteem. Perhaps free from the library? I think it could help. It will give you a healthy, accurate way of viewing yourself and others. It can help improve many areas of your life, changing the negative into positives. It teaches you how to look after yourself, mentally, so that, in a way, you become your own best friend. It has helped me a lot.
Take Care
